Our Wedding Planner – Stephen Foong
Stephen has been a wedding planner for more than 20 years! Imagine the experience he got! We were really lucky Stephen was available on our wedding dates as he is a person known to be booked very much ahead! Stephen gives us a lot of valuable advice and he is going to be our ‘tai kam lou’ for our actual day’s tea ceremony too! We are really looking forward to that because we (especially me the bride) do not really like those ‘tai kam che’ who talks too much! Of course we love to hear good things, but sometimes too much makes you feel …… (well you know).

Our Bridal Studio – Love Vision (SS2)
We’ve visited a few bridal fairs and Sam has also done lots of research online on which bridal studio we should engage to take our wedding photos. As you know, taking wedding photos does not come cheap! And we of course want to find the studio who can cater to our taste and understand what we want. We do not like those ‘typical’ studio photo shoots, and we find that Love Vision’s style which creates something like a story book out of the photos taken is something we like. And they also do not only focus on studio shoots but also outdoor shoots which we like very much too! You can see in our ‘Wedding Studio Photos’ folder on the photos we took.

Our Florist/ Décor Person – Ms Ooi Chai Pin
Ms Ooi supplies flowers from Cameron Highlands and she was recommended to us by Joshua’s uncle. Initially we were only looking to talk to her to order flowers and we’ll source for florists from KL. It was only when we spoke to her that we know she also provide flower arrangements service. Great! So for our wedding hall in KL and in Cameron Highlands, she’s the person to deal with for flowers and the flower arrangements!

Our Wedding Photographer (KL) – Forest Chew
Forest was initially our business associate and we became friends. This is one talented wedding photojournalist who is also very popular (must book him very early!)! We were lucky he was available for our wedding receptions in KL, but unfortunately, he cannot make it for our wedding reception in Cameron Highlands! (See!) Our Wedding Photographer (Cameron Highlands) - Terence
Terence is a photographer recommended by Forest Chew. He is quite new to wedding photography but he is very good at taking scenery photos! We have confident that he will do a good job for us!

Our Wedding Videographer (both KL and Cameron Highlands) – Chee Meng
Chee Meng was recommended by Forest to be our videographer. sAlthough we don’t know him well but we find Chee Meng very friendly and easy to communicate with. We think communication is very important in getting anything done with the outcome to be something we like. We’re definitely looking forward to Chee Meng’s service!

Our Wedding Band Performance – Mosaic
We actually met the talented Managing Partner of the band Dennis Lau, whom is also a violinist by profession many months ago. That was when we were at the start of our planning stage. It was only until recently that we managed to view Mosaic play at one of the wedding functions of another couple. I can say they’re really good! Looking forward to a night to remember with Mosaic’s performance!

Our Wedding Invitation Card Printer – Happiness Wedding House
The name itself sounds very sweet! This company has lots of nice wedding invitation card designs to choose from and their prices are reasonable too! We’ve seen some which are really expensive and the cards are just normal. If you look at Happiness Wedding House’s website you’ll see that they are doing a great job!

Our Wedding Rings – Brilliant Rose
We’ve gone to many shops and looked at many items. But the first time we walked into Brilliant Rose, we bought our wedding rings on the same day! Their designs are really beautiful and the service is great too!

Make Up Artist for the Bride (KL) - Helen
Sam’s words: Helen is attached to our bridal studio Love Vision in SS2 and she was the one who did the my make up for our wedding photo shoot. She is very nice to talk to and listen to what style I like or dislike and give suggestive comments. She did a great job for our wedding shoot make up and I believe she will also do a great job for our actual day!
